Terms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and [Company legal name], [Address] (“we”), for The IQ Suite website and ReceiptIQ on the web and in the iOS and Android apps (“the service”). By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you use it for an organization, you accept them on its behalf and confirm you may.
Your account
You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email, so keep that inbox secure: whoever can read it can sign in as you. The owners of an organization decide who joins it and what they can see, and are responsible for the people they invite.
Plans, renewal and cancellation
- ReceiptIQ has a Free plan and paid plans (Pro and Business). Prices are shown before you buy, and include or exclude tax as shown at checkout.
- Paid plans are subscriptions that renew automatically at the end of each billing period, at the then-current price, until cancelled.
- Bought in the App Store or Google Play: payment is charged to your Apple or Google account, the store’s own terms apply to the payment, and you cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings at least 24 hours before the period ends. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
- Bought on the web: payment is taken by Stripe, and you cancel from the ReceiptIQ web dashboard. [Refund policy for web purchases.]
- Cancelling stops the next renewal; the plan stays active until the end of the period already paid for. Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription.
- “Unlimited” scanning is subject to fair use: normal use by a business of the size the plan is for. We will contact you before limiting an account we think is outside it.
- If a price changes, we will tell you before it applies to your next renewal.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use scripts, bots or other automated or bulk means to upload, scan or extract data, or to get around plan limits;
- probe, overload or disrupt the service, or access data that is not yours;
- copy, resell or reverse-engineer the service, except where the law allows it;
- upload anything unlawful, or documents you have no right to store.
We may suspend an account that does, and will tell you why where we can.
Your content
Your receipts and data stay yours. You give us permission to store, process and display them only to provide the service to you and the people you share them with — including sending photos to our AI provider to read them. You can export everything at any time, free, and take it with you.
Not tax, accounting or legal advice
ReceiptIQ organizes receipts and reads them automatically, and automatic reading can be wrong. Check amounts before you rely on them. Nothing in the service — categories, tax summaries, exports or budgets — is tax, accounting or legal advice, and it does not replace a qualified professional or your own obligation to keep records the law requires.
The service, as it is
We work to keep the service available and your data safe, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties beyond those the law does not allow us to exclude. We may change or end features; if we end the service, we will give you reasonable notice and time to export.
Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — lost profits, lost data, penalties or tax consequences — and our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and [amount]. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
Ending this agreement
You can stop at any time and delete your account in the app. We may end or suspend access for a serious breach of these terms. The sections on liability and your content survive.
If you got the app from the App Store
- These terms are between you and us, not Apple, and we — not Apple — are responsible for the app and its support.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
- If the app fails to meet a warranty that applies, you may notify Apple for a refund of its price; Apple has no other warranty obligation.
- Apple is not responsible for claims about the app, including product liability, legal compliance or intellectual-property claims.
- You confirm you are not in a country under a U.S. embargo and not on a U.S. list of prohibited parties.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.
Law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of [Governing law]. We may update them; if a change matters, we will tell you before it takes effect, and continuing to use the service after that means you accept it. Questions: support@theiqsuite.app.
